Prior to joining Fitness Together, my work and life schedule was inconsistent with travel,kids, job, etc... I had a difficult time maintaining any consistent workout schedule and healthy eating habits. My wife encouraged me to get a personal trainer since I got to the point where I had given up on trying to lose weight or get in shape. I just had my 40th Birthday, I was up to 225 (from 170 lbs when we met), I was moody, self conscious, uncomfortable, sluggish, etc...everyone who is out of shape can relate. My wife read an article in a local paper about a Fitness Together Client who was successful with the FT program, so I thought I would give it a shot.

- It is a commitment and accountability - I have a consistent work out and eating plan
- The training system is efficient. I'm working one-on-one with a trainer there are no distractions
- It keeps me committed - Times when I have setbacks or go on vacation, gain a few pounds - I'm able to get back on track a stay on course when I previously would have quit
- A trainer is going to work me harder than I would train myself - I wouldn't do the extra rep or extra push-up if I didn't have someone pushing and encouraging me to do it.
- I do not have to plan my workouts, they are planned for me so I can focus on just working out
