Fitness Together of South End, which opened in November of 2007, is one of our newest locations. As in all Fitness Together studios, we pride ourselves in giving every client the attention they need and deserve. The studio is located in historic South End, directly across the street from Sullivan's Restaurant.

Fennell Hicks
Animated and motivating is how you describe Fennell. He works just as hard as the clients during every session. Born and raised in South Carolina, Fennell played college football at the University of New Mexico. After college, Fennell has lived across the U.S. training all types of clients. There is no such thing as a boring workout with Fennell. He always gives his clients 100%, every minute of every session. If you want to be motivated, there is no one better than Fennell.

Carrie Selby
Currently holds a B.A. in Exercise Science, with a concentration in Sports Management and demonstrates her knowledge and abilities by creating both intense and results-driven workouts for Fitness Together clients. She has an extensive background in a physical therapy environment as well as personal training. One of Carrie's strongest assets is her creativity in program design, which keeps the body guessing so that clients are constantly seeing results. Carrie became a personal trainer after years of training herself and pushing her own limits. She turned her passion for fitness and working out into a professional career. Carrie believes that the Fitness Together experience is all about the one-on-one attention and accountability. She gives each client a personal plan of attack that the client progresses with to reach their goals. As a motivational coach, Carrie is on top of her game. She pushes herself to the limits of training, and expects the same from clients.

Michelle Green
Currently pursuing a B.A. in Exercise Physiology, she has been a fitness enthusiast for over ten years and is excited to bring education and experience to the clients at Fitness Together. Her motivation stems from the results she has achieved from years of consistency and dedication to herself. Michelle believes the only way to unlock your true genetic potential is a perfect combination of resistance training, cardio, a healthy nutritional plan, and listening to your trainer. Michelle feels that the best part about being involved with Fitness Together is the unique experience for every client. A client can expect a tailored program for their individual goals and to be taken to new fitness levels in a safe, fast-paced environment. Michelle's biggest pride is the fact that FT clients have access to the team of Fitness Together trainers and can turn to anyone for motivation and information.

Scott Jelleyman
After serving in the United States Marine Corps at Camp Lejeune, N.C., Scott decided to pursue a career that could let him continue helping others in a positive aspect. Fitness has always been a personal priority of Scott's, and he has pushed his own limits through high intensity training as well as a strong self-discipline in life. Scott has always been into competitive martial arts, boxing, snowboarding, trail running, and mountain bike racing. Michael McAllister (FT Ballantyne Studio) and Scott Jelleyman have partnered to create an awesome environment here in South End Charlotte. Motivation, enthusiasm, and dedication are all priorities for coaching his clients and helping them go above and beyond in all aspects of fitness. Scott personally measures his own fitness levels by continuing to keep a First Class, Marine Corps PFT.
